Chief People Officer joins to strengthen the firm’s already best-in-class culture
Leading business and financial adviser Grant Thornton UK is delighted to announce the appointment of Abigail Fisher to the newly created role of Chief People Officer (CPO). Abigail will join the firm in late February.
This appointment comes at an exciting time for the firm, showcasing the strength of the Grant Thornton brand following external investment from international private equity firm Cinven and the desire of exceptional leaders to be a part of the firm’s growth journey.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the rotating partner team is composed of seasoned professionals committed to driving the firm forward.
Abigail Fisher said:
"I’m thrilled to be returning to Grant Thornton, a firm that has always held a special place in my career. This is an exciting time of growth and transformation, and I look forward to working with our talented teams to create an inclusive, high-performance culture where everyone can thrive."

As Grant Thornton continues to grow, the firm remains committed to building an inclusive culture where its people, clients and business can thrive. Abigail’s leadership will be pivotal in ensuring that, as the firm scales, it stays true to its values while embracing a high-performance approach and continues to create a culture where everyone can succeed.
The announcement comes as the firm continues to evolve its ambitious growth plans and make key strategic leadership appointments to support this growth, including the appointment of new CFO Chris Stefani and new members to its board; along with bold plans for the recruitment of 160 partners over the next two years.
