Abigail joined the bank in December 2020 and became a partner in 2024. After graduating from Cambridge University, she qualified as a solicitor before moving into the charity sector where she worked as a community organiser and co-founded an educational charity, the Centre for London. Abigail then worked as a strategy adviser in the Department for Education and later as a strategy consultant at EY-Parthenon. Before becoming a partner, Abigail was instrumental in embedding our purpose (to be ‘good bankers and good citizens’) at every level of the organisation and led our successful B-Corp certification, which evidences that purpose. Abigail’s weekends are mainly spent running around after her young children; occasionally she and her husband manage to enjoy an evening together at the opera or hosting friends for dinner.
