A look into the role


As a Change Assurance Assistant Manager within our Change Assurance team, you will:

  • Support with assurance over the governance of projects and programmes delivering IT change across financial services organisations (large and small scale).

  • Supporting with the assurance of change portfolio management and methodologies (waterfall, agile and hybrid).

  • You may be required to support the wider co-source team in the delivery of technology or third-party assurance engagements.

  • Working mainly with Internal Audit teams – either directly for the client or as a part of the GT Team, may involve first/ second line of defence reviews.

  • Participating and supporting with the full review lifecycle, scoping engagements with clients, completing fieldwork, evaluating findings and  reporting on recommendations.

  • Participating and supporting with engagements with senior client representatives (i.e. project sponsors, stakeholders) and delivery team members and management.

  • Proactively support the team in identifying and implementing continuous improvement activities.

Knowing you’re right for us

Joining us as a Change Assurance Assistant Manager, the minimum criteria you’ll need is  an awareness of project and programme delivery or assurance/ audit experience.  This role would ideally suit a general auditor or a PMO Analyst/ Manager looking to pivot into change assurance.

It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don’t worry if you don’t tick every box, we’ll help you develop along the way.

  • Understand project delivery methodologies and change frameworks.

  • Understand change governance and risk management practices.

  • Knowledge and experience of data analysis and experience of tools such as Power BI.

  • Proven ability in report writing.

  • Stakeholder management, experienced to operate with C-suite level stakeholders.

  • Ability to present concise messages and reasoning to senior stakeholders and governance committees.
