We are looking for a Bids Assistant Manager to join our busy bids and proposal team within our Financial Services department. You will manage the bids process, from the initial kick-off meeting right through to the interview stage. You will be responsible for driving the bid process, ensuring all deadlines are met. You will have the opportunity to develop creative and innovative ways to make the response compelling and insightful. You should have experience of leading strategy meetings, content creation and working on design.

A look into the role

As a Bids Assistant Manager within our Financial Services team:

  • You will be required to support the Financial Services team with the creation of proposals in response to RFPs or direct client requests and any subsequent documents required for the interview stage
  • You will be expected to work on large and often complex bids and proposals
  • You will project manage the proposal process, engaging with senior stakeholders and meeting deadlines
  • You will be expected to design and create PowerPoint documents that are visually strong and meet our brand requirements
  • You will review proposal documents to ensure high quality, accurate content and correct branding
  • You will also support the bids team with the upkeep of the proposal content library and the creation of new content as and when required

Knowing you’re right for us

Joining us as a Bids Assistant Manager, the minimum criteria you’ll need experience in a similar Bids/Proposals role, and to be confident managing a large number of proposals. It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don’t worry if you don’t tick every box, we’ll help you develop along the way.

  • Intermediate to advanced level knowledge of MS PowerPoint and knowledge of other MS office tools
  • Experience of holding/running meetings with senior team members (Partners, Director etc)
  • Well organised, methodical with a keen eye for detail
  • Strong communication skills and excellent proof-reading capabilities
  • Ideally from a financial services background
