Job Description:

We’re on a mission to put our clients at the heart of everything we do. To help us meet our ambitious growth targets, we’re hiring a Marketing Automation Manager who will drive the adoption and evolution of marketing automation across the business.

We are seeking a Marketing Automation Manager to lead the marketing automation team and drive the development and optimisation of marketing automation strategies, with a strong focus on customer insights journey (CIJ) and supporting our broader digital marketing transformation programme. This role will be pivotal in delivering data-driven marketing initiatives, improving customer engagement, and ensuring seamless integration across platforms.

A look into the role


As a Marketing Automation Manager within our team practice, you will:

  • Lead the marketing automation team (onshore/offshore) and provide guidance, coaching, and performance management.

  • Design, implement, and manage marketing automation workflows to enhance customer journeys and lifecycle marketing.

  • Ensure alignment with CIJ objectives and marketing transformation goals.

  • Oversee marketing automation tools and ensure best practices are followed.

  • Collaborate with IT and data teams to maintain system integrity and integration with CRM and analytics platforms.

  • Develop and optimise CIJ frameworks to deliver personalised experiences across channels.

  • Analyse behavioural data to refine segmentation and targeting strategies.

  • Work closely with channel leads across web and social to ensure alignment and behavioural data captured.

  • Manage end-to-end campaign automation, including email and multi-channel workflows.

  • Monitor performance metrics and provide actionable insights to improve ROI.

  • Work closely with marketing, sales, and transformation teams to ensure automation supports organisational objectives.

  • Champion marketing technology adoption and training across the team.

Joining us as Marketing Automation Manager , the minimum criteria you’ll need is proven experience in marketing automation and CRM systems and a strong understanding of customer journey mapping and data-driven marketing. It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don’t worry if you don’t tick every box, we’ll help you develop along the way.

  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in reporting and optimisation.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Familiarity with marketing transformation programmes is highly desirable.

  • Experience in leading and developing a team.
