Prestige Park & Leisure Homes Limited, alongside Homeseeker Park & Leisure Homes Limited, the two leading brands in the UK park residential and leisure lodge manufacturing industry, have been formally merged as part of the refinancing deal structured by us.
The UK leisure market has experienced major growth over the past decade with changing consumer trends including an increase in "staycations“. This has led to large-scale investment projects to upgrade holiday parks to meet the demand for holidays on the 5,500 leisure parks in the UK .
Meanwhile, the demand for residential park homes has also grown. An ageing population and a shortage of housing has increased the demand for single storey park home solutions on residential parks.
The Shareholders approached us with the aim of restructuring the business and providing investment to support its exciting growth strategy in this dynamic market.
We worked with the shareholders to find the optimal solution for the business which would support its exciting growth plans for the future.
The major shareholders together with the senior managers have invested in the new business with a private long term Growth Capital solution provided by Praesidian Capital. This provides the business with an institutional partner to support their growth plans and an incentivised key management team.
The merged companies will continue to trade under their separate Prestige and Homeseeker brand names.
