Hopedale, Bluebell, Heather Field and Lavender Field Schools are a Group of independent specialist schools in Staffordshire and Cheshire. They provide high quality education to pupils aged 5 to 18 with a range of social, emotional and mental health needs, in addition to those with more complex learning difficulties and autism.
The Group was founded by two teachers and an angel investor who opened Hopedale House in 2012. Following the success of Hopedale, three further sites were opened, the last two following investment from Puma Private Equity.
We were appointed to provide corporate finance, modelling and tax services to the shareholders. A joined up approach enabled a strong profile and opportunity to be taken to market to drive competitive tension through an efficient and tailored process.
Our strong understanding of the sector enabled a select pool of buyers to be approached, ultimately identifying the eventual buyer as the best strategic fit whilst achieving excellent value for the shareholders and delivering a highly successful outcome.
