GTS is at the forefront of the global industrial adhesives industry and has extensive manufacturing expertise from its 50 years of operation. It provides innovative adhesive solutions for fast-changing markets, most notably in the manufacture of electric and hybrid vehicles. The business works closely with customers to provide solutions that perform in demanding end environments. 

We were engaged by the shareholders of the business to launch a formal process to secure an investment partner with a long-term partnership approach to support the future growth of the business and allow one of the shareholders to transition to retirement. 

Our corporate finance team ran a targeted investment process focussed on finding the right investment partner for the management team and the future strategy of the business.  

The management team were introduced to a small select number of investors as part of a tight competitive process. Our solution allowed the ongoing management team to significantly de-risk their investment in the business, while looking to the future for the next phase of growth. 

Our engagement provided a joined-up and multi-service offering to the shareholders to increase deal efficiency and reduce complexity.  

We maintained momentum throughout the process, despite a difficult and uncertain global backdrop due to the impact of Covid-19 and lockdown, and we helped to ensure the transaction was delivered as soon as possible following the lock down period.
