We are delighted to have advised Bud Systems on their minority investment by Maven Capital Partners.

Heather Frankham and David Foster founded Bud Systems in 2017 as a result of a shared passion and experience in supporting and delivering high quality, impactful training. They have built a leading platform which provides end-to-end solutions for learners and training providers alike to enable the delivery of high-quality, compliant training whilst improving the visibility of progress and performance.

The business operates in a growing market with clear and compelling growth drivers as apprenticeship and other training organisations are subject to ever increasing and more complex regulatory obligations. The demand for Bud Systems' services has grown year-on-year and there is significant bandwidth to grow further within a market at the heart of addressing the UK skills shortage.

Bud Systems have achieved significant commercial traction and already boasts a meaningful market share. With Covid-19 accelerating the adoption of the digital tools within the learning industry, they were seeking a partner to help capitalise on these favourable market dynamics and work with the management team on the next phase of its journey.
