I am the leader for our Bristol office and the South West. My specialism is taxation. I focus my time in ensuring that all our people deliver outstanding quality and service to our clients.
I work with dynamic organisations and people on a daily basis, whether entrepreneurial businesses, high net worth individuals or corporates, or with colleagues across the UK and the globe.
Building on my early years as inspector of taxes and as a senior policy adviser to the president of the board of trade, I then moved into public practice and have more than 30 years' experience advising on a range of tax issues.
In addition to the above I also represent our firm in Westminster and Whitehall, with government ministers, opposition parties and with regulators and the media to ensure that the voice of our clients is heard.
I am a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Tax and sit on the council of that institute. I am also a member of HM Treasury’s Tax Professionals Forum having been appointed to that post by the Financial Secretary to the Treasury.
When I’m not working, I can be found spending time with my wife and family. I enjoy cycling, cooking, the arts and occasional bouts of running!
