Kevin Engel has been appointed managing partner of business and financial advisers Grant Thornton UK LLP in Scotland.
Mr Engel comes from Grant Thornton’s Manchester office where he has worked for the past seven years leading the audit practice for Manchester and Liverpool. He will now be based in Edinburgh and is responsible for the 160 strong Scottish operation across Glasgow and Edinburgh.
He will take over from Andrew Howie to allow him to concentrate on his role as Regional Managing Partner of Scotland and the North of England.
The appointment is due to start this month with Kevin co-ordinating a gradual handover of commitments before planning to move permanently this September. Kevin will relocate with his wife and two young children.
