Leading business and financial adviser Grant Thornton UK LLP has reinforced its real estate tax offering with a series of promotions and hires.

Jessica Patel has been promoted to Director. Having joined the firm over 11 years ago as trainee, Jessica has gained vast experience over the years, working on a number of complex real estate transactions. In addition the firm promoted David Farr to Associate Director.  David Farr has been active on a number of real estate funds, including recent activity in both the UK and Europe.

Grant Thornton has also bolstered the team with the hire of Matthew Stannard, a Senior Manager with experience in both practice and industry, including a listed property group and an international fund. He joins the firm from Hines.

Real Estate Tax Partner at Grant Thornton UK LLP, Kersten Muller said:

“We congratulate Jessica and David on their well-deserved promotions and welcome Matthew Stannard to the team. We have made a number of hires and promotions in the last year as we continue to strengthen and grow our client base. This growth is driven by our success in winning a number of transactions and assignments, as well as the high volume of very active real estate funds.

"Investment into real estate is very active both in the UK and Europe, and is coming from investors both foreign and domestic. We’re seeing increasing interest in areas outside of London and in the residential property market."
