Leading business and financial adviser Grant Thornton UK LLP has won a host of industry accolades for its asset recovery, restructuring and insolvency expertise across two separate award ceremonies.

The firm celebrated success at both the ACQ5 Law awards 2018 and the Who’s Who Legal Thought Leadership awards 2018, taking home a multitude of accolades. The awards acknowledged the firm’s industry leading expertise and insights which shape the firm’s clear purpose.

Grant Thornton took home awards across four categories at the ‘ACQ5 Law awards 2018’, including:

  • Asset recovery firm of the year
  • Insolvency firm of the year
  • Restructuring and turnaround firm of the year; and
  • Game changer of the year, Kevin Hellard (Insolvency, Practice Leader)

The ACQ5 award ceremony celebrates eminent individuals, industry leaders, exemplary teams and distinguished businesses who have achieved outstanding commercial success in their designated areas of expertise, and are responding successfully to the demands being placed on them.

Kevin Hellard, Head of Insolvency, received a specific nod from the ACQ5 awards by taking home the accolade ‘Game changer of the year’. Commenting on Grant Thornton’s success, Kevin said: “we are delighted to be recognised as industry leaders across Grant Thornton’s asset recovery, insolvency and restructuring teams.
