Leading business and financial adviser Grant Thornton UK LLP has appointed Chris Raab as head of the firm’s US desk.
Chris joined the firm’s London’s office in 2013 having spent the previous seven years working with the Grant Thornton US firm. He has vast experience working with US listed companies, performing quality control reviews and leading SEC and PCAOB audits. Chris is also Deputy Chair of the ICAEW’S Public Company Accounting Oversight Board panel.
Grant Thornton’s US desk for audit and assurance services serves as a compliance and quality control mechanism for audits that involve reporting to the US under AICPA and PCAOB standards. The desk is led by US Certified Public Accountants who have experience auditing and providing assurance services both in the US and UK.
