I lead our shared services and outsourcing advisory support within the business consulting practice. I have significant experience working with clients across industry sectors in order to develop and implement their strategy for shared services and/or outsourcing, and to deliver improvements in performance and control.
Prior to this I worked for Alstom Transport for 10 years, where my roles included programme management of SAP implementation in the UK and Germany, and financial controller for the UK rolling stock business in Birmingham, during which I oversaw the transformation of the accounts payable function.
My most recent experience includes supporting the development of a shared service collaboration and a major ERP upgrade programme across six UK public sector organisations. Previously I led a programme to establish shared services for Kodak Alaris, in Mexico and China, including running the service for 18 months on behalf of the client. In addition, I have led research with over 70 organisations into the future of the UK as a location for shared services and the impact of robotics and intelligent automation.
Outside work, I have rediscovered a love of running particularly Canicross, cross-country with my dogs, but recognising the importance of balance I also thoroughly enjoy being let loose in the kitchen.
