I work in the public services advisory practice based in Birmingham. My specialism is alternative service delivery models in local government, supporting options appraisals and business cases development for the creation of companies, as well as advising on existing companies. More recently, I have been involved in the restructuring of existing companies to facilitate their growth.
I lead our long running thought leadership campaign on alternative service delivery models in local government, which has covered the creation of wholly owned companies, joint ventures and social enterprises. This was shortlisted in 2016 at the Management Consultants Association Awards for best thought leadership. In relation to this campaign I regularly write articles, host seminars and roundtables, and speak at events such as the Local Government Association Conference 2018.
In my spare time I do charity work in the criminal justice system, working to rehabilitate ex-offenders. I also sit on the Lord Chancellor’s Advisory Committee at Birmingham Magistrates Courts responsible for the appointment and oversight of magistrates.
@Sathnam @thetimes Consider a 1970s Fiat Dino. Has two horns- one soft ‘town’ horn and a much more fierce ‘country’ one.
