I am delighted to be head of assurance, working with dynamic organisations and people on a daily basis. I enjoy the variety of the role and the ability to work with organisations of all shapes and sizes from entrepreneurial businesses through to large corporates, as well as with colleagues across the UK and around the world. My role also involves representing Grant Thornton internationally and in the UK on audit and assurance matters.
I have been firmly focussed on the international arena since 1988, when I was a member of the ground breaking team that developed the first Grant Thornton International audit approach. I was proud to be voted onto the 2015 Global Accountancy Power 50 of individuals that excel and influence the profession.
My husband and I are enjoying the travel opportunities created by now having an empty nest. I enjoy keeping fit and will locate a yoga centre almost anywhere on my work or leisure travels.
