I am a qualified chartered accountant and have over seven years' insolvency experience working in New Zealand and the UK. I specialise in complex, multi-jurisdictional insolvency and asset recovery appointments, often involving fraud.
I regularly lead teams, working with stakeholders and legal advisers, to formulate claims (often utilising the insolvency powers in bankruptcy or liquidation proceedings) and to execute a recovery strategy across different jurisdictions in order to return value to creditors through the realisation of dissipated assets.
I have led investigations across a number of jurisdictions, including Europe, Russia and the CIS, various offshore financial centres, Africa, USA, New Zealand and the Middle East.
More recently I have been working to develop our insolvency offering across a number of African jurisdictions, specifically a number of stateside anti-corruption opportunities.
When not working, I enjoy travelling and going for a run, so I am always on the lookout for an excuse to combine the two.
