I am a member of our Strategic Leadership Team, having made my first foray into audit with the Audit Commission in Yorkshire back in 1986.
After growing the largest public audit practice in the UK, I joined the firm in 2007 and now lead our public services team. I am also extremely proud to have been elected President of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA).
Clients come to us because they are looking for insight-led, collaborative solutions that will deliver sustainable outcomes. They face huge challenges and every decision impacts on people’s lives. We are so privileged to work with them.
A large part of our focus is helping organisations to think more collaboratively to solve local problems. We’re uniquely placed to help connect truly diverse perspectives - across public, private and third sectors - that can drive innovation.
Outside of work, I’m into classic cars, Victorian art and exploring the Northumberland coast.
