With 14 years’ experience in the real estate sector, I am passionate about property. A lawyer by background, I bring a wealth of transactional experience to the real estate tax team.

My clients have included developers and investors in some of London’s most iconic properties, including Madame Tussauds, Centrepoint Tower and the tallest residential tower in the UK. I have worked extensively with investment managers in establishing funds across the UK and Europe, including a £350 million logistics fund and a £400 million retail fund. Advising a new investor in the student accommodation sector, I led the tax due diligence and structuring of the acquisition by a client of 10 properties comprising over 3000 beds across the UK and an investment of c. £700 million.

I believe that building strong relationships is critical to successful transactions – not only with clients and their stakeholders, but also other advisors and lawyers. Teamwork is key, and my collaborative and problem-solving approach is valued by my clients and my team. The tax environment has undergone major changes in the last few years - tax solutions are necessarily highly bespoke and transaction-specific, and a deep understanding of clients’ businesses and needs is always at the heart of my advice.

A keen traveller, I take every opportunity to explore the world (and its cuisines!). I recently travelled Vietnam and Cambodia, and I am always looking for ways to combine my trips with two passions – yoga and cooking. Thankfully one serves well in cancelling out the effects of the other!
