As a director in the public sector assurance practice I have an external audit portfolio of health and local government clients, including the largest council in the country. Within this role I am passionate about providing excellent advice and support to clients, and also to the local government and NHS sectors more broadly. I am also particularly enthusiastic about helping clients to adapt to the changing landscape of public services.
I am a branch member of the West Midlands Healthcare Financial Management Association and was also part of the team that developed the successful tender which won a £40 million contract in 2012 to deliver external audit services to local government and the NHS. During this time I oversaw, alongside the lead partner, the successful transitioning of 400 staff to the firm under a TUPE transfer.
I have been recognised internally within the firm winning a national ‘distinctive client services’ award in 2015 and an internal client services award in 2012.
Outside of work, I am chairman of the Johnson Society (Lichfield), one of the oldest literary societies in the world with more than 600 members worldwide. I'm also a keen cyclist, music enthusiast and amateur cryptic crossword setter.
