I have specialised in corporate finance for the past 25 years. My primary experience is in selling privately owned businesses, usually with a value between £5 million and £100 million.
In the past 18 months I've led the £16 million sale of private-equity-owned Youngman Group to a large US corporate, Werner Inc; the MBO of retail intelligence specialist Springboard; the £25 million sale of packaging specialist CRP to Smurfit Kappa; the sale of high acuity healthcare provider Kingly Care to Active Assistance; and the £16 million sale of automotive business IM Kelly to Belgium-based ECA NV. I've also sold businesses to Japanese, German and North American buyers.
In October 2014 I was voted Dealmaker of the Year at the Insider Central & Eastern Dealmakers awards and our local team won Corporate Finance Team of the Year. I am also the international service line leader for Grant Thornton's International M&A business and have strong relationships with our M&A teams throughout the world.
Although work keeps me busy, I also play various sports and I’m currently captain of our local cricket team.
