I lead our employer solutions offering across the north. We help clients carry out major changes to their employee remuneration and benefits packages, including flexible benefits, tax and NIC-efficient pay structures, and related policy/procedural changes.
With more than 20 years’ experience in tax work – eight of them working as an inspector with the Inland Revenue – you’ll also find me advising on employment and tax-related compliance issues in the construction industry, including HM Revenue & Customs investigations.
I find the key to success is to gain a solid understanding of my clients and their individual situations. There’s no ‘one size fits all’ solution for employment tax consulting, as the culture and mind-set of every business is different. Instead, I make it a priority to understand the motivations and culture of my clients, and work closely with them to provide a bespoke solution.
