I am an insolvency practitioner who specialises in handling unusual and complex assignments, often with asset recovery and tracing exercises. Recently I have handled cases where creditor claims totalled over £1 billion and I have been integral to recovering assets on behalf of creditors.

My case work is varied and has recently focused on Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) /Russia assignments including acting as trustee in bankruptcy of the complex estate of Boris Berezovsky (deceased), and assisting families and banks from the region in the recovery of assets. I'm also a member of the Russian and CIS Arbitration Network (RCAN).

Outside of my regular case work I'm developing the firm's research offering, which provides assistance to clients on a variety of matters from due diligence exercises to identifying assets to pursue in litigation.

I'm a regular speaker on insolvency topics and have recently presented on the administration process and directors' duties, and I presented at a fraud conference in Moscow on using Insolvency Act powers to recover assets across international boundaries.

I enjoy the challenges that each case brings.
