I began my career in financial services back in 1985 and joined Grant Thornton in February 2012. My role involves working with clients to advise them on their wealth. This includes how to build it, enjoy it and pass it on to their families. My clients tend to be owner-managed businesses or those selling businesses.
I use my expertise by spending time getting to know business owners to help them achieve what they want from their business and what they want for themselves. Clients say that I'm able to help them understand how their wealth can work for them. For me, it is the focus on strategic planning that makes a real difference to what they do in the future, helping them to get to their ultimate goals.
As regional head for our London and Gatwick offices, I work with my team to ensure that our clients' needs are met and that we exceed expectations. I have a highly experienced and qualified team, who are dedicated to working with clients to develop long-term strategies and give outstanding client service.
Outside of work I really enjoy spending time with my family – they are the reason I do what I do. We particularly enjoy getting out of London for long walks in the countryside, spending quality time together.
