I'm a UK and French qualified actuary with over 15 years of experience and a track record of working with global insurance companies across international jurisdictions.
I lead our service line on finance effectiveness and modelling for insurance companies. I recently led a major finance transformation programme, heading a combined BAU, consultant and contractor team, planning and leading implementation stages to improve the fast close by 50%. The programme involved mapping the actuarial modelling and reporting process, improving governance and controls, building a data warehouse and cloud capabilities, creating a target operating model.
My areas of expertise include a strong commercial focus and extensive managerial skills to understand business matters and develop sophisticated technical solutions. In addition, I formulate robust financial reports to facilitate sound business decision making and deliver major actuarial based projects in line with commercial objectives.
I've worked on other subjects such as business transactions, audit, economic capital and with-profits. I have developed a keen interest in the Mutual and Friendly societies sector, which I believe provide a strong sense of purpose to its members and present its own challenges and uniqueness.
During my career, I have worked extensively across continental Europe, particularly in France and Switzerland.
Outside of work, I enjoy skiing and playing backgammon with family and friends.
