I have been leading financial services strategy and transformation programmes for over 15 years, having previously worked in banking, and qualifying as an accountant, supporting some of the most exciting and challenging change initiatives in the industry.
If change is the only constant in life, I am going to remain busy for a mighty long time. As the leader of transformational change and performance improvement for our Financial Services sector team, my work is typified with helping my clients respond to industry wide challenges, including regulatory change, digitisation, performance improvement and operational efficiency. Central to our approach is the adoption of digital prototypes and business simulation techniques to fully assess the viability and business design of the identified strategy or solution, avoiding expensive mistakes that are far too common within large scale transformation programmes.
Through my work with leading banks in the UK and US I have a particular expertise in the adoption of video and digital adoption within financial services distribution, and my work has been recognised by both the Management Consultancy Association and the British Banking Authority.
I also founded my own FinTech business in 2012 in response to the Retail Distribution Review, developing an innovative app for comparing consumer spending and personal financial management.
Outside of work and travelling on the train (I live in Wiltshire) I busy myself with an equestrian obsessed family, justifying the ownership of a ‘little grey fergie’ tractor. I also love my tennis, squash, sailing and skiing.
