I trained with Grant Thornton and, for more than 30 years, I’ve specialised in extracting value from, and eliminating solvent companies. I work with large and small organisations undertaking a wind-down of their activities, including a number of public sector organisations, with a view to their subsequent solvent liquidation.
I’ve managed a large number of group simplification assignments for both quoted and private groups in different sectors across the UK, devising project step plans tailored to meet each client’s needs. With such assignments, I’ve helped many clients to use the out-of-court capital reduction procedure for private companies introduced by Companies Act 2006 and with the strike-off of dormant entities.
I design and deliver the firm's specialist update courses on solvent liquidations and corporate simplification, and plan and deliver annual training updates for the colleagues in my specialist team.
During the summer months I continue to be involved in punt racing regattas on the River Thames, still competing, but also organising them and umpiring racing.
