I have over 10 years of experience consulting some of the largest UK employers on apprenticeships development and levy guidance and lead on business development for our talent solutions team. I'm also the consumer markets sector lead for levy guidance and consulting on the apprenticeships programmes offered by our partnerships.
Among these are the MBA and MSc apprenticeships provided in partnership with Cranfield University, and finance qualifications from early career to post-graduate. I am a huge advocate for the opportunities provided by apprenticeships, not just to employers but also to people who otherwise may not have had the chance to develop.
I started my career leading apprenticeships consultations with one of the UK's leading car manufacturers and have led consumer and telco industries for the last five years. In my previous role, I worked with a major supermarket to upskill hundreds of people through apprenticeships to gain their CIPD qualification after a large restructure to their people teams and supporting them with data analytics when they merged with their current brands.
We sit on the board of the Association of Apprentices, and I have been doing pro-bono work with them since they launched, advising on their engagement strategy and contributing to their apprentice focused content. I have also been named in the top 100 women in apprenticeships, appearing on the radio around A-Level and GCSE results days to discuss the benefits of apprenticeships.
When I am not working, you can often find me discovering new places to eat or at home cooking and baking. I love music and spent the first decade of my adult life as a signed singer and songwriter, and I love to read, travel and watch movies – the scarier, the better!
