Leading business and financial adviser Grant Thornton UK LLP has reinforced its offering to the Consumer markets sector, through a senior appointment and team promotions.
Will Baxter has joined the team as corporate finance director, where he will be responsible for leading the firm's initiatives in the hospitality sector. An experienced corporate financier with broad sector knowledge, Baxter joins following a lengthy career in mid-market corporate finance and latterly a period of self-employment, during which he co-founded the well awarded restaurant Merchants Tavern. Baxter brings an extensive track record in revenue generation within lead advisory and considerable experience in business restructuring within the consumer and leisure sectors. Mr Baxter will be based at Grant Thornton's Finsbury Square offices in London.
Grant Thornton has also promoted Elliot Berg to associate director and Nikki Gray, who has been promoted to the position of manager. Elliot and Nikki both trained with Grant Thornton and have gained valuable transaction experience across the wider consumer markets sector over the last few years.
