Grant Thornton CEO named one of the highest rated CEOs for 2017

Sacha Romanovitch, CEO of leading business and financial adviser Grant Thornton UK LLP, has been listed as one of the highest rated CEOs for 2017 in the Glassdoor Employees' Choice Awards which highlights leaders employees love working for.

Sacha received an approval rating of 88%, based on the anonymous and voluntary reviews Grant Thornton employees shared on Glassdoor throughout the past year. The average CEO approval rating of the 700,000 companies reviewed was 67%.

When submitting reviews employees are asked to rate various factors about their employment experience, including their overall satisfaction and other workplace attributes like senior management. As part of these ratings, employees are also asked to rate whether they approve, disapprove or are neutral about their CEO’s performance.

Commenting on the recognition, Sacha Romanovitch, CEO, Grant Thornton UK LLP said: “It's lovely to have positive affirmation from our people of the work that we are doing as a firm. We set ourselves a bold purpose to shape a vibrant economy and have started to create our shared enterprise culture moving away from a hierarchical model, where ideas and decisions are held tightly by a few people at the top, to involve all of our 4,500 people in contributing ideas and taking responsibility for making them happen.

“I am constantly learning from them as we forge our path into the future and would like to thank them for their ongoing inspiration to me on this journey. Being a CEO can be lonely, having the energy of all your people alongside you encourages one to be bold, hold one's nerve and continue to grow.”

Grant Thornton UK was also recently named one of the best places to work in 2017 on Glassdoor.
