Apprenticeship Levy

Justin Rix Justin Rix

Improve the skills of employees at all levels, increase productivity and boost growth.

Employers with an annual pay bill over £3 million per annum have to pay a 0.5% Apprenticeship Levy each month. The government then makes this money available to the employer via a digital account to invest in apprenticeship training and assessment costs.

The introduction of the Levy and other apprenticeship policy changes is a cornerstone of the government’s skills agenda, creating a system that puts employers at the heart of designing and funding apprenticeships, to support productivity and growth.

Helping your organisation take advantage of the Levy

Building on our own experience of responding to the Levy, we can help you develop your strategy. We tailor our support, providing you and your team with information on the relevant specifics of the Levy and helping you devise an appropriate response. We’ve supported more than 1,500 employers with compliance, understanding the impact and making the most of possible opportunities. And we can help you do the same.

We have formed two innovative partnerships to develop dynamic training programmes. Both programmes are linked to the Apprenticeship Levy so you can benefit from little or no additional cost to your organisation.

  • The Cranfield Executive MBA
We’ve formed a partnership with Cranfield University to bring world class, education to management teams of dynamic organisations. You can pay towards the costs of the Executive MBA programme through the Apprenticeship Levy, enhancing your management team’s skills.
  • The Babington Accountancy Professional Level 7 Programme
Together with specialist training provider, Babington, we have created a new approach to professional development that leads to CIMA or ACCA qualification, and develops highly valuable leadership skills.
