including over 40 listed investment companies, a range of VCTs and
many hedge funds, authorised funds and Unit trusts
- Providing tax advice on issues including transfer-pricing, the
implications of the IME, the offshore fund rules, personal tax,
structuring for tax efficiency and the requirements for seeking
distributor status
- Guiding companies through the process of fund establishment,
regulatory authorisation and compliance, and seeking a listing on
London's Alternative Investment Market or the Irish Stock
Exchange
- Advising on fund liquidations and restructuring
- Product design and pricing models
- Helping firms assess their risk and capital management
requirements, including dealing with the Capital Requirements
Directive
- Providing IT strategy and consulting services, through our
subsidiary Moffat, to a wide range of organisations including some
of the world's largest hedge fund managers. Moffat has
completed over 60 hedge fund start-ups.
- Providing support for private equity firms and their
funds.
