The Not for Profit group is committed to delivering a high quality service to our clients and also providing support and expertise to developing the sector as a whole.

This sector is a core part of our business and we specialise in the following areas: charities, universities, further education colleges, schools, registered social landlords, industrial and provident societies, trade unions, members associations, clubs, NHS Trusts and other not for profit bodies. We have a national team of knowledgeable specialists that consistently form effective partnerships with our diverse clientele working out of 11 centres of excellence around the country.

Our involvement in the sector is extensive, including: membership of a number of key sector bodies including the Charity Finance Directors' Group and ACEVO; providing a varied and topical national seminar programme for the charity sector; contributing to the sector's thinking by being involved in sector studies; sitting on regulatory technical boards including SORP Committee, ICAEW Charities' Technical Sub Committee; and producing regular technical literature including newsletters and factsheets.

We offer solutions and advice in the following service areas: external auditing; direct tax; VAT; employer solutions; investment solutions; property advisory services to develop simple solutions to complex property issues; funding and regulatory reports;; project finance and debt advisory, providing advice on all aspects of the PFI/PPP process; and business risk services including internal audit, governance and technology risk management,  providing assistance with IS governance, information security, business continuity and business processes and systems.
