Case Studies
The Audit Commission
The Audit Commission is an independent public body, which is
responsible for ensuring public money is spent economically,
efficiently, and effectively in the areas of local government,
housing, health, criminal justice and fire and rescue
services. In a recent tendering process we became one
of the largest providers of audit and related services to the
Commission. Feedback from the Commission gave the reasons for our
success as being the high quality of our work and service over a
number of years, and the overall value proposition we will provide
in the future. This win, and our recent successes with Audit
Scotland and in Wales, means that we will be at the top of the
Government audit market – a great endorsement for the focused
approach to the sector and a fantastic result for our
specialists.
Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation
Trust
The Trust was approved as a Foundation Trust two years ago, and
we have recently been reappointed as external auditor after an
extensive competitive process, as the Trust wished to ensure that
it was receiving the best quality service and range of advice from
its auditor. The Trust has let us know that we were selected
because of the quality of our past service, the strong
relationships we have built with their key people, our knowledge of
the Foundation Trust market and the in- depth range of services on
offer.
