I joined Grant Thornton in 1986 in the Liverpool office. I 've worked in London, Hemel Hempstead and Kettering in various roles and I am currently an audit partner. My sector specialisms are charities and professional practices, and I am the current head of independent schools and academies. I also work with many owner-managed businesses in the logistics, construction and manufacturing sectors.
In my local community, I am a trustee for two charities and a board member for the Northamptonshire and Milton Keynes Chambers of Commerce. I represent Grant Thornton on the BITC Prohelp program, providing pro bono advice to local charities. As governor for a local secondary school, I also have the opportunity to help improve the delivery of education to pupils attending the school.
In my spare time, I spend time with my family, and support Northampton Saints rugby club and Liverpool football club, although I don't get to see either team often enough.
