I lead the complex and international insolvency team with more than 30 years' experience in major cross-border insolvencies and restructurings. My reputation and success is built on an ability to manage and deliver value to a diverse range of stakeholders from complex cross-border insolvency and restructuring cases.
I'm particularly experienced as a liquidator and in successfully managing high value and complex litigation, both in a general commercial and specific Insolvency Act context. The liquidation of Saad Investments Company Limited, for example, has involved global litigation in excess of $10 billion.
I have realised value from a diverse range of different asset classes including a large private equity portfolio in the Saad Investments Company Limited liquidation and a Russian gas exploration business in the Eurotek administration.
The vast majority of my work is international in nature and often involves taking formal insolvency appointments or obtaining recognition of insolvency proceedings in a variety of jurisdictions. I have been appointed in BVI, Cayman Islands, DIFC, Cyprus, Belize, Jersey and Guernsey, as well as the UK.
