I have been a partner since December 2006 and currently head the national individual voluntary arrangement (IVA) practice. As a chartered accountant and licensed insolvency practitioner my remit spans the UK, providing advice and solutions to individuals and businesses on how to recover from insolvent situations, particularly consumer debt. As a team we supervise more than 45,000 individual clients.
With over 20 years' experience in the industry I have built up strong relationships with many advisers in the free money advice sector, in particular Citizens Advice Bureaux, StepChange and other not-for-profit organisations. My principal focus is advising individuals on over-indebtedness with consumer debt. I often speak at external conferences on consumer debt and, in particular, the psychology of debt.
I am a husband and father of three young children who are keen on keeping me fit and healthy running after them. I play five-a-side football and enjoy hillwalking with my family; however I'm not so sure whether my three daughters have the same passion.
