            I am an experienced adviser having focused on M&A since qualifying in 2000. Since then I have spent the past 15 years advising owner-managed businesses, large corporates and entrepreneurs to develop their strategy – including exits, acquisitions, MBOs and raising of new funds. I also spent two years at Aviva within its M&A team, completing more than 20 deals in this short period. It was a great insight into life on the other side of the fence within a plc.

            Today I lead a team of 25 advisory people focusing on lead advisory, transaction support and restructuring. Based out of Cambridge, technology remains a core sector as demonstrated by a number of deals including the sale of Sequel Business Solutions and MBO of Validus IVC.

            However with a focus on the central and eastern region, our transactions cover all sectors and I have completed recent deals within the food and consumer, manufacturing and distribution, support services, healthcare, technology, and property and construction sectors. I've worked on many deals between £2 million to £100 million – the sale of M&H Plastics a packaging business, Dental Directory and CEL Haulage to name but a few.

            I am proud that our team has been named Team of the Year for three years running by the 'Insider' Awards and for two out of three years we've won Deal of the Year and Dealmaker of the Year.

            Out of work I have a great family, a wife and two kids, and I'm a long term sufferer as a Norwich City football fan.
