I head up our Thames Valley tax practice, which is a multi-disciplinary practice with more than 70 employees. We cover a wide range of tax issues but I have a particular interest in international taxation and tax on corporate finance transactions.
After joining the firm in 1998, I built up significant experience in advising on corporate acquisitions (including those spanning a number of countries), disposals, flotations and reorganisations. I have been a partner for over 10 years and now I tend to devote most of my time to a mixture of international tax work – restructuring, expansion, transfer pricing, international funding arrangements, for example – and commercial tax advice.
I’m an experienced presenter and regularly speak on behalf of Grant Thornton at tax and international seminars and am author of the book 'International Tax Planning' published by Tolley's in 2015. This is a standard reference work used by tax professionals in both practice and industry.
