I am an audit partner advising clients across a broad range of sectors on accounting and business issues. My clients include a number of full list groups, a large professional practices firm and private equity backed groups.

I joined Grant Thornton in 1996 and was initially based in Cheltenham office before moving to London in 2003. While in Cheltenham, I acted as reporting accountant on numerous AIM IPOs and one of the firm's first NASDAQ IPOs.

In addition to looking after my clients, I acted as head of London audit until June 2014. I particularly enjoy working closely with my clients and the teams that look after them.

Outside of work, I play squash for the MCC and this helps combat the rigours of professional eating and drinking. My two children are at university; Joshua is reading accountancy and Imogen is reading law. My wife, Fiona, works at Pate's Grammar School in Cheltenham and lives at the family home in Gloucestershire while I undertake a weekly commute to London.
