I joined Grant Thornton in 1997 in our Manchester team and haven’t looked back. Between 2002 and 2012 I worked in our national technical team providing high-level advice and innovative ideas across the range of taxes for my colleagues in the tax practice. And in 2012 I transferred to our Yorkshire practice where I primarily advised entrepreneurs, their families and their companies.
In 2015 I started another new chapter when I joined the tax team in London. My role is to continue to build and grow the practice, advising on the full range of tax services for UK and non-UK private clients, entrepreneurs, their families and their companies. My joy at work is making a difference for my clients and providing pragmatic advice specifically tailored for them and their unique circumstances.
With over 20 years’ experience working in tax I have worked with listed businesses, privately held businesses, professional and investment partnerships, and individuals all across the UK and internationally.
Outside of work my passion is for sailing, whether racing dinghies at my sailing club or navigating a yacht through the challenging tidal systems of the British and Irish coastlines.
