What opportunities for personal
development do you offer?
We'll support and encourage your development throughout your

open and supportive colleagues. While at Bradenham Manor, our own

if you need to.
Our culture and our structure mean you can make your mark and

experience beyond your core competency, stretching yourself as far
as you'd like to go.
We can also arrange secondments to clients, banks, government

insight into the wider world of business from an external
perspective.
All new managers go through our Preparation for Management

How will you track my
progress?
A development review with a Human Resources professional or
Staff Development Manager (a manager who has a proportion of their
time dedicated to your development) helps you gauge your longer
term aspirations and plan how you'll get where you want to go
within the firm. The review leads to a development plan, usually
framed against the firm's attributes.
The Firm has a unique electronic appraisal system to facilitate
bi-annual, one on one feedback and objective setting directly with
your line manager.
If you have the potential and appetite for accelerated
development you will be given help and support at our development
centres to uncover and develop skills that could take you to the
highest positions in the firm.

How will I give you
feedback?
Our annual staff surveys are designed to gauge staff opinions
and to enable management to monitor and benchmark their performance
on some key issues that affect all staff. All staff are asked for
their views on communications, HR policy, people management,
overall strategy and the direction of the firm.
We gather more informal qualitative feedback from staff at all
levels through regular gatherings or focus groups at which
employees are canvassed on their views and encouraged to give
direct feedback. The findings of the discussion are fed back to the
UK National Management board.
We also have a 360 degree feedback system to encourage up and
down and peer group performance feedback. It gives you the chance
to tell your boss line manager what you think of them... and find
out what your colleagues, subordinates and manager think are your
strengths and development needs.
All of our Managers also have a direct link to the National
Managing Partner, Michael Cleary, through the Managers Forum.
